A Hong Konger who has a multi-disciplinary background in media & communication, print advertising & TV commercial production, and cultural & and academic research.
He received his undergraduate education in the U.K., majoring in Media, Communication and Sociology, and graduated with First Class Honours. Later, he pursued his MA at the University of Hong Kong, studying Comparative Literature. Recently, he received his second Master's degree in Criminology.
He has been working in the media and advertising industry for about 10 years. During his years in the U.K., he worked as a reporter @ Sketchbook Magazine, a research/office assistant @ World Photography Organization, Programme Host @ London Huayu and a freelance photographer. While in Hong Kong, he was appointed by the University of Hong Kong as a research assistant, conducting academic research with Dr. Petula Sik Ying Ho. The inter-contextual research studied the mother-and-daughter relationship in Hong Kong and the U.K.. During his appointment, they produced many documentaries, while some had been selected and shown in international film festivals.
He then worked as a producer for Print Advertising and TV commercials. He worked in a professional production house @ Red Studio & icon Ages; @ Mad Carrot Production & Carbon; as Freelance Producer for different directors & photographers, and companies; as a Consultant Creative Director in a Macau-based company; his experiences span various advertising agencies and clients (see below). He has also worked with K11 Concepts Limited in Digital Marketing; Regional Producer at Red Fuse Communications; Studio Manager @ I Heart Studios; Production Manager @ Carbon; Producer @ Edelman; Senior Producer @ Carbon Limited; Senior Producer @ Carbon; Senior Producer @ Mad Carrot Production; Senior Digital Producer @ Orchid Creation.
